1,000 mile Cycle for Charity

Kay Elliott Practice Manager Mark Jones has entered the Aedas Cycle to Cannes endurance event

Kay Elliott are visiting MIPIM this year, and Mark Jones is preparing to get there the hard way by entering the Aedas Cycle to Cannes endurance event.

Mark will cycle 1,000 miles in just 6 days starting on 1st March and in the process hopes to raise vital funds for the UK’s first Children’s Charity, Coram.

The Aedas Cycle to Cannes is an annual endurance event from London to Cannes in the south of France, where around 100 riders from the property industry come together to complete the challenge to raise a target of £200,000 for vital charitable causes.

Mark, who has entered the Go-The-Whole-Distance challenge for the ride will be cycling up to 200 miles each day to complete the endurance event within 6 days and has been training hard over the winter, accumulating over 3,000 miles of training around Dartmoor.

With two-thirds of Aedas Cycle to Cannes funding going to Coram in 2012, the ride hopes to improve the chances of over 10,000 children nationwide and help some of the most vulnerable children in the UK to transform their lives. Article 25, Emthonjeni Trust, Multiple System Atrophy Trust and Tom’s Trust, are among the other organisations being supported.

Kay Elliott has already raised £2,000 but has a further £1,500 to raise to meet their target. To sponsor Mark please click here
