Madame Tussauds Hollywood Opens

The brand new Madame Tussauds Hollywood opens for a sneak peak preview.

Construction is completed for the ninth Madame Tussauds located in Hollywood. The attraction will be open to the public from the 1st of August.

Architects at Kay Elliott have led a team of designers for the 40,000 sq ft of internal display area and fit out, which houses the world famous wax work figures. There are no barriers between the wax Stars and the public, enabling visitors to stand next to and touch and interact with their heroes, which include Charlie Chaplin, Marlene Dietrich and Marilyn Monroe.

The shell of the building is designed by architect Michael Rotondi and the total project has cost $55 million.

Kay Elliott’s dramatically designed interior space helps re-inforce the Madame Tussauds brand and provide a glittering and glamourous backdrop in which to mingle with the great, the good (and bad!) and the famous.
