Tanya is a Chartered Architect with over 14 years of practice experience. She worked at Foster and Partners for 10 years and became an associate working on major public buildings and private residences including for the Foster family in Europe. Her specialist areas of expertise in architecture include high specification, complex public buildings, technical facilities including, digital media, primary and specialist healthcare facilities and historic building conversion. She also has expertise in design review, design enabling, procurement and community consultation practice and has successfully secured HLF and Arts Council funding for capital and community projects.

Tanya is a Trustee and former Chair of the Plymouth Arts Centre and a Director on the Board of Architecture Centre Devon and Cornwall.

She has recently achieved distinction in her MSc in Sustainable Heritage at UCL. Her area of research is sustaining the heritage of the C20th.
